The future of toys production?
A project has landed on Kickstarter to raise funds for an app called Mech Maker that allows users to create figures which can then be 3D-printed into reality! Users can choose a head, torso, two arms, and a pair of legs, as well as colours. Imagimod, the makers of the app, aim to raise $50,000 by June 1st.
As 3D printing becomes more mainstream over the coming years, could this be where toys production is heading? Could more toys companies look to interact with their target market by running competitions for new toy designs?
